La Cage is proud to work with local producers and to offer a menu that’s part of the Aliments du Québec au menu program. We can always count on the best local products for guaranteed freshness and quality. For us, it’s essential for the La Cage customer experience to be just as well on the plate as on the screen. Each season, our corporate chef Denis Dupuis rolls up his sleeves to develop new dishes that showcase local products while continuing to embrace our classics. Our wings, All for One! and famous Blitz Burger will always be on the menu—we promise!

Sports culture

Since day 1, La Cage has been the ultimate place to watch sports. Hockey, golf, tennis, curling—we show it all. No sports discrimination here! The same is true for fans of all teams, who are always welcome at La Cage. In a refined, welcoming atmosphere, fans experience an unprecedented television event through the many 4K Ultra HD TV screens showing their favourite live sporting events. With the central bar, which fuels conversations, and decor that includes wood, rustic pine boards and real baseball bats and hockey sticks, they feel like they’re spending the evening at home with their buddies.
A propos Culture sportive

In June 2023, La Cage officially went international with a new location in Bordeaux-Bègles. This new franchise marks an important milestone in La Cage's history. More openings are planned for 2024-25. Follow us on social medias to stay updated!

La Cage takes its first official international flight: destination Bordeaux/Bègles. This new franchise marks a new chapter in the history of La Cage. Who’d have thought that after nearly 40 years, a jewel of the Quebec restaurant industry would be setting down roots with our cousins in France?

Neapolitan PIDZZ at La Cage? Oh, yes. A culinary innovation that’s carefully designed to offer the perfect PIDZZ. In fact, the restaurants were rearranged specifically to fit the Italian gas ovens, an investment of more than $1.2M.

Club Cage gets a makeover

More generous, more digital. The new mobile version of Club Cage brings the member experience to a whole new level. Members can now earn points EVERYWHERE: in the restaurant, at LaCageChezVous.com and on delivery apps. Exclusive promos and rewards for all our members.

A difficult year

A particularly difficult year for many industries, including restaurants. Workforce restructuring makes several innovations possible, including keeping jobs in the network and developing our platform, LaCageChezVous.com.

It’s a big day: you can now eat La Cage in the comfort of your home! Order takeout or delivery: you’re the boss!

Club Cage loyalty program

The first loyalty program is created at La Cage. With each restaurant visit, our Club Cage members earn rewards: discounts, free food and/or free beer.

L'Académie Cage

In partnership with the ITHQ, a new program is developed for our kitchen staff: L’Académie Cage. Exclusive training courses provided by renowned chefs that enable our teams to perfect their culinary techniques and grow within the company.

From La Cage aux Sports to La Cage—Sports Bar

La Cage aux Sports officially becomes La Cage—Sports Bar Same legendary ambiance, more modern and minimalist new decor. Local food is featured on the new menu created by Louis-François Marcotte.

La Cage 4.0 in Boucherville

The La Cage 4.0 project is in full swing in Boucherville: new layout, more technology. This concept marks a turning point in our history, as this vision will soon spread throughout all our restaurants in Quebec.

Georges Durst, the king of nightclubs in Montreal, founded La Cage aux Sports at the time of the rivalry between the Montreal Canadiens and the Quebec Nordiques, offering the broadcast of matches on big screens, a first.
